When a situation genuinely calls for a conventional product, we say what it is and why, and we use the least of it that will do the job.
How We Actually Work
Identify before treating. The species determines the treatment, and in Florida that is not a formality. Ghost ants and white-footed ants need baiting, and spraying either one makes it worse. Drywood termites and subterranean termites need completely different jobs. Carpenter ants mean wet wood somewhere. Getting the identification wrong costs you a treatment and buys you the same problem in six weeks.
Find the conducive condition. Almost every repeat pest call in Central Florida traces back to something physical: irrigation running against the foundation, mulch piled over the stem wall, palm fronds and oak limbs bridging to the roof, a garage door sweep that has worn through, an AC condensate line that has been dripping into a wall, or a bath trap that was never sealed. We will tell you what it is even when the fix is not something we sell.
Say no when the answer is no. If your bathroom ceiling has surface mildew rather than a mold problem, we will tell you to clean it and get the vent fan working. If the drywood termites in a fascia board can be spot treated, we will not quote you a tent. If the material we find is intact asbestos that your project does not disturb, leaving it alone is the right answer.
