Trelona AdvanceTermite Bait System

Trelona ATBS Advance Termite Bait System
With its innovative design, Trelona® ATBS
Advance® Termite Bait System is proven
to protect your home from termites.

For the ultimate in protection, rely on the bait
station termites find faster
Termites cause more than $5 billion worth of damage each year
in the U.S. alone, and this damage is not covered by most
homeowner’s insurance policies. Since termites are found
nationwide, there’s a constant risk of termite infestation. To
protect your home, choose Trelona® ATBS, the most advanced environmentally safe
baiting technology available in Orlando.
What are the warning signs of an infestation in my home?
Unfortunately, there may be few warning signs but you can look for the following:
*Termites “swarming” during the day or early evening, often after rainfall
*Termite evidence in or around windows and door frames
*Shelter tubes appearing on or around the foundation
*Baseboards and floors which may sound hollow
*Termites or termite wings on window sills or along walls
The best way to determine the presence of termites in your Orlando home is with a thorough home
inspection from Envirosafe Pest Control Orlando.

How does termite baiting actually work to control termites?
Tunneling termites are attracted to a food source, feed, and then travel back to the colony,
leaving a pheromone trail behind. Upon returning to the colony, they share the bait with
nest mates, and additional termites follow the pheromone trail to locate and feed upon the
bait directly. Over time, more and more termites will have fed upon the bait and start to die,
beginning the process of colony elimination.
How are stations installed around my home?
Termite stations are strategically installed around the perimeter of your home, typically in
landscape beds adjacent to the home. Installation requires digging 2½-3 inch diameter by
1 foot deep cavities into the ground. These cavities are placed approximately 10–20 feet
apart. Once the cavities are created, the stations are placed within the cavity. Your Pest
Management Professional will provide a termite baiting program that is right for you.

Once our trained Termite Technicians detect termites in the TMB and/or the TIC, the TIC is removed and an Advanced Termite Bait Cartridge (TBC) is installed. This begins the termite baiting process and the start of termite colony elimination. Termite bait stations are monitored by our firm on a quarterly basis to ensure Termites never return. Convenient scheduling is created by the fact that you do not have to be home.

Second Method: Termidor® Termiticide

Unlike any other termiticide, Termidor® termiticide/insecticide kills termites through ingestion or contact. Because Termidor is non-repellent, termites unknowingly ingest it along with the cellulose and other material they normally ingest. Since termites can't see, feel, or smell Termidor, they readily contact it as they forage for wood or other cellulose materials. So even if termites are not actively feeding, Termidor will kill them. Typical Termidor application rates contain 0.06% of the active ingredient fipronil, which is substantially lower than any other termiticides. It is not mutagenic, not teratogenic, and not considered a human carcinogen. It is also non-toxic to earthworms and soil microflora. And because it binds tightly to organic matter in soil, eliminating any potential for it to reach groundwater. With our Perimeter Plus Treatment even less termiticide is applied in the soil. Our targeted Termidor Treatments according to the Termidor Perimeter Plus label is the most environmentally friendly liquid Termite Treatment available.
